In the beginning, it was just ordinary pottery that didn’t conduct electricity. After mixing in chemical compounds, it gained remarkable properties—storing electricity and vibrating with an electric current. Akira Murata, the founder of Murata Manufacturing, called it "Wonder Stone". Since then, the company has focused on developing electronic components to make people's dreams a reality.
